WHY THE TEBOW HATE?

This past month their have been many articles concerning Tebow hatred.
"Tebowing" is a new fad and mockery of his faith.

I had a much commented on blog in April 2010 about this.

WHY THE TEBOW HATE?

From Tebow.
Strong reaction to him. Love or hate. Why?
Sports Illustrated had a preseason article on him last summer.
I checked the letters to that magazine about that article two issues later.
Two letters praised his football ability and character written about in the article.
Six letters shredded Tim Tebow about things not in the article-his father's missionary society,
the orthodox Christians view and insistence about Jesus Christ Alone for salvation and end times Bible prophecy. Pure venom.
Why do people hate this young man [besides being a Gator]?
Certainty in his faith in Jesus Christ is why.
The world hates certainty-this makes you exclusive of other faiths-though you SHARE the gospel in obedience to Jesus Christ to save the world.
I have heard it and so have you, you know-"Who are you to say that only Christians are going to Heaven?" or "How could a loving God send anyone to Hell?" Jesus came "to seek and to save the lost." [Luke 19:10 ESV] The world objects to the very gospel that will save it.
Many football critics do not have to like Tebow. Many of Tebow's critics have a real problem with Jesus Christ.

Tebow displays certainty in his faith in Christ Alone and the world can not stand that.
Christ will not rise or fall on one NFL players career. Win or lose Tebow will praises his Savior.
The world really just can not stand that Savior part. They can turn the channell on Tebow.
One day the whole world will have to be deal with and be judged by the returning Christ.

In Christ Alone!
