Why You Don't Want To Go To Church Is Probably Why You Need To

People often do not want to, or feel worthy, or feel the use or need of church fellowship in group worship.
But…
People are hurting.
These are tough times.
Sickness and disease, finances, family problems, evil inflected on self and others cripples the people we love.

People feel hopeless.
These people blame themselves, others or God.
These people need hope.
Some need forgiveness and some need to forgive.
Many do not think there is a place for them in worship to before an imposing God.

We know we need what is called faith but how do we get faith?

A BAD ANSWER:  We will not grow in faith as they retreat to their own cave while the world goes on and our problems get worse.

A GOOD ANSWER:  We need to Hear the Word of the Living Lord with a group that cares enough about hurting people and want to fellowship with them before the One who loves us most and can change things.

Be with a group that agrees the only lasting answers come through Jesus Christ as that group looks to Him as their Savior over their sins and knows  who gives eternal life by his death on the cross for us.
Be with a group who knows Him as Sanctifier and through His perfect life we can walk in righteousness.
Be with a group who knows Him as Healer as the Holy Spirit reaches out and touches us with the balm of forgiveness of sins and healing of the heart, soul and mind and body.

Be with a group that knows Him as the one day returning and ruling King.

God planed it, the church, the right way.  Follow the plan.
Jesus referred to this planned group as a “House of Prayer” and His “Body”.
The Lord gave a “how to” to receive and share the life giving and healing gospel.

Romans (NKJV)  10:14 “How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written:
“How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace,]
Who bring glad tidings of good things!”
16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?”  17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

So we get faith by worshiping our Lord and understand Him by lifting Jesus up.

Join us as our worship group REDEEMING GRACE meets at 6:00 pm Sunday night at Riverside Chapel/Memorial Park 989 Riverside Drive, Gainesville,GA 30501.
