God Knows Who You Are - And Hears You

The most frustrating thing in the world I believe people suffer through on this Earth is not being able or allowed to communicate.
People with speech problems, young people scared of life, women left alone with responsibilities, men not being able to provide or work, deaf people not being understood, the terminally sick, addicts not being able to find a solution, when these people can not communicate their needs they feel hopeless.
No one hears them.
Nobody can understand.
They know there is no answer.
They know nobody who can help.
They give up.
Don't!

On this Good Friday many Christians reflect on the suffering and sacrifice of the Savior Jesus Christ. The world is confused and cannot communicate why it does not understand the cross and the gospel. Nobody can hear them and they can not express it.

Yes, Jesus died humiliated, naked, whipped, beaten, betrayed by family and friends.
This was the common criminal's punishment by the Romans. Hundreds of thousands died this way in that era. His death was recorded. Yet in that time of local history that death passed on as one of many.
What was different about the death of Jesus Christ?

We did not know Him.
He knew us.
He knew pain, thirst, death, sickness, betrayal, sin to horrendous to discuss as they all were on Him at the cross.
He knew you.
He was willing to redeem or save you anyway, fulling knowing every deed or thought you ever had.
Romans 5:8 says "While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
We were in, or would be in our worst filth, stench and slime of sin.
Yet the King of Glory, Jesus Christ, God's only Son, humiliated Himself by leaving Heaven and the throne room of God to - become like you, know you, and take on not the best but the worst things you and the world could do and suffer and pay that price for the sin on His time on the cross.

Hebrews 2:17 (NASB) "17 Therefore, He had to be made like His brethren in all things, so that He might become a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people."

Propitiation is a word not used much in church today.
The Wiki-dictionary says- Propitiation is the act of appeasing or making well disposed (feans from Latin propitiāre, to appease, from propitius, gracious).
Merriam-Webster says propitiation means "An atoning sacrifice."
Some people like to say Jesus was not very religious.
In fact He was the most religious person who ever lived.
Why?
He had to do it for you.
He was who John The Baptist said in John 1:29
"he saw Jesus coming to him and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!"
This Lamb had to know no sin.
Why?
So He could be worthy to pay for yours.
Romans 5:10(NASB)
"10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life."

Jesus, knew you, in fact He knew you at your worst and He, the King of Glory, deemed you worthy to die for.
In fact, what many do not realize, He made you.
John 1:1-3 (NASB) "1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being."

Jesus knew he was the King Of The Jews

On trial Jesus knew who He was, His mission, His people, and you.
Yes Jewish friends He is not maybe-He is your King.
Luke 23:3(NASB) "3 So Pilate asked Him, saying, “Are You the King of the Jews?” And He answered him and said, “It is as you say.”"

He, Jesus knew he was The Son Of God.
Luke 22:66-71(NASB)
Jesus before the Sanhedrin "69 But from now on THE SON OF MAN WILL BE SEATED AT THE RIGHT HAND of the power OF GOD.” 70 And they all said, “Are You the Son of God, then?” And He said to them, “Yes, I am.”

On the cross He knew you.
All about you.
He deemed you worthy to be in the Kingdom if you repent and believe.

Hebrews 4:15
"15 For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.

Jesus was fully man.
Hebrews 2:9
9 But we do see Him who was made for a little while lower than the angels, namely, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, so that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone.

Jesus knows you, do you know Him?

When you know Him everything changes and can be made right.
You can approach Him.

Hebrews 4:16
16 Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Jesus knew he was God and the Son and the second person in the Trinity.
Know Him.

In the garden before Jesus was taken to trial He prayed in what is called
"The High Priestly Prayer" in
John 17:5 "5 "Now, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was."
Jesus and God are one."

I once heard a story of a person bragging on a tour of the White Hose how they knew the president. Then the person who was hearing the bragging saw the president enter their room. The president called that person up by name to join him. The difference-one person knew the president, the other person was known by the president.
Friend the king of Glory knows you.
Know your king.
know your savior.
He knows you.

Repent , turn from the world and your sins, receive salvation, forgiveness of sins, peace with God and citizenship in Heaven.

Your King knows you and paid your price.

Know Him.
