Question on > Eternal Life

Question Received
 If our soul is immortal why isn't that confirmed on one of convocations of the church?

MY ANSWER:
The immortality of the soul is confirmed by the Word of God.
The church answers to The Word of God.
Where will your soul spend eternity?
Mark 1:14-16 New King James Version (NKJV)
14 Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, 15 and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.”
Turn from sin to The Savior Jesus Christ and have eternal life with Him.
John 3:16 (NKJV)
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Here are passages from the Old and New Testaments that confirm that the soul is eternal.
Psalm 22:26 (NKJV)
26 The poor shall eat and be satisfied;
Those who seek Him will praise the Lord.
Let your heart live forever!

Psalm 23:6 (NKJV)
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
Forever.

Ecclesiastes 12:7 (NKJV)
7 Then the dust will return to the earth as it was,
And the spirit will return to God who gave it.

Daniel 12:2–3 (NKJV)
2 And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake,
Some to everlasting life,
Some to shame and everlasting contempt.
3 Those who are wise shall shine
Like the brightness of the firmament,
And those who turn many to righteousness
Like the stars forever ...

Matthew 25:46 (NKJV)
46 And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
