Worst Youth Group Ever – It’s Documented
Pastors have seen "Youth Groups" get out of control
before. On youth retreats kids smoke cigarettes
and worse stuff. Showers draw peeping Toms.
Kids “hook up” and have to be peeled
off each other.
Bullying and taunting can lead to total disrespect for
authority and can reach unbelievable levels.
One “Man of God” could not
take it anymore.
On one trip the youth went over the line it seems.
Minister Elisha was traveling on a round trip from Samaria.
He had a problem with the group of boys whose number was reported
as 42 lads.
Perhaps the same sex grouping ratcheted up the ill tension in
the unruly fellows.
Documented below is how Minister Elisha reacted to the bad
behavior and the account
of what happened to the disrespectful mob of adolescent
males on a trip from Bethel to Mount Carmel.

“23 Then he went up from there to Bethel; and as he was
going up by the way, young lads came out from the city and mocked him and said
to him, “Go up, you baldhead; go up, you baldhead!” 24 When he looked behind
him and saw them, he cursed them in the name of the Lord. Then two female bears
came out of the woods and tore up forty-two lads of their number. 25 He went
from there to Mount Carmel, and from there he returned to Samaria.”
