QUESTION: "Is the Next Level Anointing biblical?"
MY ANSWER:
Is the "Next Level Anointing" biblical?
NO. Why? It is not in the Bible.
This looks like the latest gimmick of the false prosperity gospel.
You might know this false gospel as the old "Name It And Claim It" game.
Old school prosperity preachers used to promise great financial gain would be in store for you when you sent them money. Testimonies concerning miracles of health, n new cars, money made and personal financial gain are hooks these folks use so you will send in "seed" money to their ministry.
Why have there been great medical miracles ever?
The answer is not because you were a super duper seed sowing saint.
You and I do not have the ability to shape or change futures forever.
God grants deliverance from sin, illness and calamity for one simple reason "but that the works of God might be displayed in him." This is illustrated in John 9.
John 9
"1As he passed by, he saw a man blind from birth. 2And his disciples asked him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?" 3Jesus answered, "It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might be displayed in him."
People peddle the gospel for gain and dress it up because they really have no gospel at all. Around the Reformation era in the 1500's church's used to claim they had a vile of the blood of Christ, a tooth of John the Baptist, or perhaps a lock of Mary's hair. They had made up junk to draw a crowd. They people needed the gospel. They received junk. That is why the Reformation had to happen so we could focus on the Bible Alone, through Faith Alone, Grace Alone, trough Christ Alone for the glory of God alone.
"Next Level" is a phrase that motivational speakers and sales professionals have popularized the last few years as a catch phrase. Yes, some have tried to use it
to promote a gospel for personal gain. There is no "Next level". We have the blessings that flow from Christ. Go to Christ not the hucksters.
There is something better than anything made up "Next Level Anointing"- the gospel of Jesus Christ. Through his perfect life, death burial and Resurrection from the dead, Christ was The worthy substitutionary Lamb. His death paid for the sins of the saved on the cross for all who repented and believed. The wrath of God intended for sinners was placed on Him. The righteousness of Christ was bestowed on us in the eyes of the Father. He alone paid for our sin debt. His Father views us as righteous and blameless as we receive the righteousness of Christ for salvation, peace with God, and eternal life in Heaven.
The jewels from Christ should never be on viewed as on par with charlatan "next level" nonsense, or whatever the latest get them in church to give us money scheme is.
John 3:31-36 (ESV) "31 He who comes from above is above all. He who is of the earth belongs to the earth and speaks in an earthly way. He who comes from heaven is above all. 32 He bears witness to what he has seen and heard, yet no one receives his testimony. 33Whoever receives his testimony sets his seal to this, that God is true. 34For he whom God has sent utters the words of God, for ***he gives the Spirit without measure.*** 35 The Father loves the Son and has given all things into his hand. 36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him."
Jesus Christ "gives the Spirit without measure" says John 3:34.
What could be above the level of immeasurable blessing by Christ?
