MY
ANSWER:
He is
eternal as He claimed to be.
“ Jesus said
to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” John 8:58
The
New Testament further supports Jesus claim as Paul wrote in this letter-
Colossians
2:9 “For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;”
Christ
Jesus worked through the eternal Spirit because He was part of the eternal
Spirit –what we call the great mystery of the Trinity or Godhead. Father, Son and Holy Spirit are the Godhead
all being One God but having separate identities and purposes.
God
the father decreed salvation for His fallen in sin people. The Son lived a perfect life so He would be
the perfect sacrifice so when He died on the cross He could pay our price on
the cross. When the Holy Spirit calls us
to salvation we are convicted of our great sin.
We receive forgiveness through the perfect life of Christ that is
without spot or blemish. We receive the
perfect record of the sinless Christ now when God judges our sin. Christ
received our filthy wretched sin. We
deserved no forgiveness. Scripture says
it pleased God to bruise or crush His only Son to save us. That is grace. That is why we worship Jesus as God or part
of the Godhead.
Romans 5:10 “
For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His
Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.”
Are
you reconciled or saved from hell and forgiven because of the sinless Jesus
Chris?
I f
you are saved worship with joy.
If
you are not-
Pray,
repent and trust Jesus Christ for salvation and eternity in Heaven.
