Auxiliary dues? This is a strange phrase in my church tradition.
I had to research the phrase. What I understand is that auxiliary dues are expected contributions to the organization one belongs to. No, auxiliary dues are not in the Bible.

Recently I was asked to contribute to a memory book being prepared for a young man preparing to get married. Here is the advise I sent.
This is for a Christian husband. Women, if he is not a Christian here is your advise, run!!!

My three areas of council to a future Christian husband-

1.) Faith-You will be or should be the priest of your home. Will you be providing Scripture reading, prayer and family worship?
This is where women fail in choosing a husband. They are choosing the priest of their home and children.
Do not negate your witness by your mouth, what you allow on you TV or computer and personal habits.
Yes, you will be criticized by other men when you turn from these things. Do you want to honor God and your wife and family or guys in the world?

2.) Finance-With out a budget you will spiral into frustration. Crown Ministries and David Ramsey both offer good information on this.
Debt and wasteful spending cause the most family crisis.

3.) Raising children- How you raise and discipline children needs to be discussed before you have them.

Demon Dreams?

QUESTION RECEIVED:

My son keeps dreaming about a white demon with four legs that makes a screaming sound whilst shaking its head to and Fro. We are born again Christians, and my son has the gift of discernment. He has been sick for a month now and the doctors cannot find out what is wrong with him other than to call it Yuppy Flu. He is 12 years old.I have prayed over his room and done any necessary "cleaning out" of bad books and games that could be causing this. What should i do and what is he actually seeing?

"This is just a quick post and request...please keep my Mother (and all of us for that matter) in your thoughts and prayers. Had to take her to the hospital today and she has been admitted. David Charlton was diagnosed with LCH (LANGERHAN'S CELL HISTIOCYTOSIS) on 9/10/2008. He is a preschooler. My ministry has had Christmas fundraisers for him at The Collegiate the last two years. He needs our prayers NOW!

"David is sooo sick. I mean really sick. This chemo is horrible he is puking everywhere. And in so much pain. He isn't walking and just cries. The arac is causing him to run extremely high fevers and nothing will break them. He is close to 105 now! I'm feel so lost. There's nothing more I can do for him. He is covered for 24 hrs with antibiotics and he will get more and possibly fluids in clinic tomorrow. Please please pray for bubby he is just so pitiful and my heart is breaking in two. Strange Church Practices On Repentance

QUESTION RECEIVED:
"Does sharing your confessed sin to your pastor & first lady (for prayer) mean you can no longer serve in the church? The service I'm referring to is such as ushering, reading scripture out loud and as a deacon taking up the offerings. My brother can no longer read the responsive scripture reading and my daughter can no longer usher. This has been silenced for 3 Sundays. God has forgiven their repented sin, should we relocate to another church. I've been with my church 14 years, my daughter 3 years and brother 6 years. It took a lot of prayers to get them there. I am so confused. We are in the United States."

Yes. We are to confess sins to one another for accountability so we will repent and get back on the path.
